Marisa is a board-certified nurse practitioner who collaborates with Dr. Kazi at Scottsdale Gastroenterology Specialists to provide exceptional patient care. Her focus is on promoting a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention while helping to diagnose and manage the treatment of gastroenterological diseases. In her role, Marisa performs history and physicals, orders and interprets diagnostic studies, prescribes medications, and makes referrals to ancillary specialists.
A graduate of Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Marisa earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nursing. She has worked in a variety of private practices and has specialized in gastroenterology.
When Marisa isn’t caring for patients, you’ll find her horseback riding, reading, or pulling together a ‘Marisa Mash-up’ in the kitchen which includes using whatever food products are on-hand!
